EDGAR AWARD FINALIST?

January 21, 2012

It’s true. THE SILENCE OF MURDER is actually a finalist for an Edgar Award. I’ll get to go to NYC for the “gala” ceremony, a black tie affair (I don’t own a black tie.) I’m so honored–and grateful–to be in such amazing company. Too stunned to write more, but I will later.

The Silence of Murder–Teen Choice Nominee

January 17, 2012

I just got some good news to kick off 2012. THE SILENCE OF MURDER (Oct. 2011, Knopf/Random House) is nominated for Teen Choice Best Book of the Year Award! So, I have a favor to ask (and I’m terribly uncomfortable asking favors). If you like the book, or me, would you please vote for it? Anyone can vote–not just teens. You can read an excerpt at http://www.silenceofmurder.com. And you can vote at

Thanks a million! Dandi
