The book crazy in love is incredable i love it. You should make a sequal or something because i want to hear more about Mary Jane Ettermeyer and Jackson House!

    • dandimackall Says:

Thanks for loving Crazy in Love! You’re sweet to write. Who knows? I may come back to Mary Jane and Jackson one of these days. In the meantime, I guarantee you’ll like Bailey and the guys in My Boyfriends’ Dogs–plus, you get to see her fall in love three times, at least!

  3. Mir Acle Says:

Hi! I love your books! I wanted to know if you can make a sequal to crazy in love <3. I really love the book , I have read it over 20 times.

    • dandimackall Says:

Wow–20 times! Thanks–that’s pretty encouraging. I’ll have to think about that sequel idea. Did you read My Boyfriends’ Dogs? Different characters, but the same spirit and humor and passion, I think. Thanks so much writing. In a few weeks I plan to start blogging regularly again. I have some new books coming out in October. Dandi

    Hi Dandi,

My name is Sandra and I am from Taiwan. Over the past 10 years I have been working in Beijing, Shanghai, and HK. I bought your book “The One Year Devos for Animal Lovers” when I was looking for some books for my friend’s kids in the “book stand” in our church in Beijing and turned out I can not stop reading it !! It is really inspiring and I translate it into Chinese and share with my dad (non Christian) and my sister (who was baptized but has been “on and off”. Thank you so much !

    God Bless,

    Sandra

  5. Sandra Wang Says:

I meant…. I tried to translate it and share with my dad and my sister everyday and I have been trying to do so in the past weeks.

    • dandimackall Says:

What a lovely note to received! Thank you so much. You are amazing to translate for your dad and sister. Thanks again for writing. Dandi

I have planned a book club and Movie screening party! I hope My parents will either visit that night or find someone with cable! (Parent’s Bruce and Aneta)

    • dandimackall Says:

Amy, that is so cool! Wish I could be at your party! Better make your parents visit that night so you can keep them in line.

  9. Libby Short (@LibbyShort00) Says:

I was wondering if you were thinking about making a sequel to My Boyfriends’ Dogs.

    • dandimackall Says:

It’s a possibility–especially if the movie’s ratings are great. Thanks for asking, Libby.

  10. AmberJewel Says:

I love your books! I’ve read Winnie the Horse Gentler tons of times, and, although I only recently start riding, I’ve used some of th tricks in the book before. So helpful! You’re an awesome writer and I hope to see more books in the future!

    • dandimackall Says:

Thank you, Amber! I like Winnie too! Have you discovered Starlight Animal Rescue yet? The fourth book has Winnie and Catman, older now, visit the rescue. Fun to see them a couple of years older.
      Thanks again, Dandi

      • AmberJewel Says:

Oh yes. I have every book from both series on my kindle app and have read them over and over! Your an amazing author!
I’ve also read Backyard Horses. My mom’s stepmom bought me them for Christmas a few years back and I love them!

  12. Ellie Says:

I love your books! I just finished reading the Winnie the Horse Gentler series again. I don’t think I could ever get tired of them. 🙂 I’m also in the middle of Backyard Horses #4 and my name is Ellie. I really want my own horse who is just like Dream. :):):):)

  13. Angel Says:

    Dear dandimackall,

My name is Angel and I am 10. I LOVE your books!!!! I love my minds picture of Catman! You are very creative! I can connect to Winnie in at least ten ways. WINNIE IS AWESOMER THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! I LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Winnifred Willis!

  14. Angel Says:

DANDI!!!! I NEED YOUR HELP! Well, first I need to ask you a question. In my school there is a fourth grade project. AND I’M IN FOURTH GRADE!!! It’s a project where you talk to the whole school about a person you think is interesting, and… Um… I was going to talk about you! But since your still alive I wanted to ask your permission. But if it’s ok with you I really need some interesting facts about you, also I need to dress up as you. So, I need you to tell me what to where. (I also have to do this “my hero” thing and I don’t know who to go as, Winnie, Catman, Barker, Pat, or Lizzy!) PLEASE HELP!! Thanks!

  15. dandimackall Says:

Hi, Angel! Thank you for choosing me–I’m honored. Sounds like fun to me! Be sure to check out http://www.dandibooks.com for a good deal of information. Yes, of course you have my permission. Interesting facts?? My bio on my website explains that I won my first writing contest at age 10. My 50 words on Why I Want to Be Batboy for the K.C. A’s (now the Royals) won, but they wouldn’t let a girl be batboy.
I rode my first horse, Sugar, bareback and by myself, at age 3. Many of my horses show up in my books: Towaco, Misty, Sugar. I have 5 different horse series. I was a missionary behind the “Iron Curtain,” in Eastern Europe, and that’s where I wrote my first book. I write for every age group, babies through adults. Take a picture of yourself all dressed up and send it to my email: dandi@dandibooks.com. Good luck!

  16. Angel Says:

  19. Caitlin Says:

Hi I love your books I’m horse crazy at the moment do you know how much land you need to have one.

    Caitlin

  20. Caitlin Says:

I’m thinking of getting a stable job like Winnie sooooo cool I love horses

    Caitlin

    • dandimackall Says:

Hi, Caitlin–So cool to hear from you. I’ll respond to all of your comments here, ok? Thank you for letting me know you love my books (and Catman)! Did you get to read about them as seniors in high school in DARK HORSE? That was such fun that I’m thinking about writing their story several years older too. We shall see! It would be great if you can get a stable job–and be around horses for your “work.” Even small pastures work. Before we could get pasture land, we used to have “backyard horses” when we were kids, horses kept in the back yard. Thanks again! Dandi

  21. Caitlin Says:

    I love your books

    Caitlin

  22. Faith (Evas friend) Says:

Hi Dandi it’s been a year since i’ve been on here. Me and Eva are still friends! It makes me glad to see the things she said and the things I said it brings back so many memories!

    • dandimackall Says:

Hi, Faith! It’s lovely to hear from you after all this time. So nice to know you haven’t forgotten me, even though I’ve been a terrible blogger. I do keep up on Facebook if you go there. Wonderful that you and Eva are such good friends!

    • dandimackall Says:

Now, is this Faith or Eva? Maybe you’re both writing from the same email? Anyway, I love hearing from both of you, and I apologize for neglecting this blog. You could google me on Facebook if that’s okay. Keep going until you find my true author page because I’ve ended up with 2 or 3 and usually just post on one–so look for the one with the most recent posts. Great friendships are from God, who blesses both of you (and me)!

  23. Evangeline/Eva/Ena/Angel/Literally Anything at this point Says:

Hi! It’s been a few years since I’ve been on here. I’ve bought almost all of your books! It was so fun reading all my posts from when I was younger! I’ve entered a young writers competition in my area and I was just wondering if you have any tips?

The story I want to submit is about an Autistic boy that gets bullied a lot. Then a girl reccomends equine therapy and the boy falls in love with a very sick horse. He wants to save it at any cost.

The prize for winning is around $1000 and I want to donate it to charities and small buisnesses around my town. Any tips or suggestions would be much appriciated!!

Thanks, Eva/Angel (At this point you can call me ‘can of soup’ and I’d still respond)

    • dandimackall Says:

How wonderful to hear from you, Eva! Thanks for re-connecting. I’m so happy to hear you’re writing and still loving horses! Winnie the Horse Gentler just had a 20-year anniversary party in Chicago. God is so kind–20 years and going strong! OK–Write a terrific first sentence for your book–and the description of the book sounds awesome! Then rewrite it like crazy. It helps me to ask myself for each chapter: “Will she, or won’t she . . .?” Will she get that horse to come to her? (Chapt. 1 will answer yes or no.) Will she fall? Will she break through and start a friendship with …? Use those 5 senses to help us feel like we’re there. And pray as you write, knowing you have Jesus with you, smiling. Let me know how it goes, ok? I don’t use this WordPress much, so here’s my email: dandi@dandibooks.com Blessings, Dandi
